Imru’ al-Qais is the most important poet of the pre-Islamic era and the most important of the mu’allaqat poets. Imru' al-Qais did not accept any way of reconciliation with the Banu Asad (the tribe of his father's killer), so he went out to Yemen, so he accepted from her and Rabia in crowds, which helped him to wage war on them later.
