Adam descending to earth
Adam disobeyed his Lord when he and his wife disobeyed the command of his Lord and ate from that tree, but that disobedience occurred before Adam’s prophecy, so the prophets are infallible from error.
After their disobedience, Adam and his wife said words that God inspired them, and they are as stated in the noble verse (Our Lord, we have wronged ourselves, and if You do not forgive us and have mercy on us, we will certainly be among the losers.)
After Adam and his wife said these words, God forgave them and repented for them. After that, Adam and Eve hoped to remain in Paradise, but the wisdom of God Almighty required that they descend to Earth, so He commanded them to descend from Paradise, making clear to them that there was enmity between them and Satan. It will remain and continue, and they must beware of his temptation and not listen to his temptation
