A story that terrified all women, not only in Egypt but outside Egypt as well. It is one of the strangest stories about two eccentric women living in Alexandria, escaping from Kafr El-Zayat due to the many suspicions surrounding them. The first is called Raya and the second is Sakina. The events of these incidents took place in the twenties, when their work was to kill women after drugging them, then stealing their jewelry and burying them in the land of the house in which they lived. The first victim was Zainab Abu Al-Layl, who was 25 years old. This was the first report submitted by Zainab, Nazla’s mother, as she was visiting her and did not see her. She stated that she knew that she was visiting two women, Raya and Sakina. They were followed by another report from Mahmoud Morsi about his sister Zanouba, and Raya’s name was also mentioned. Sakina was mentioned in the report, and suspicions arose around them. Then, a 15-year-old girl filed a report about the absence of her mother, Zanouba. Sakina was also mentioned in the report. This was followed by a report from Hassan El-Shennawy about the disappearance of his wife, Nabawiyya, and Alexandria became in a state of kidnapping women. After a short period, Muhammad Ahmed Ramadan filed a report about the disappearance of his adult wife, Fatima. He was 50 years old, and here this man mentioned that his wife had original gold jewelry. Then the governor of Alexandria noticed that behind the kidnapping of these women was the theft of the gold in their possession. . Reports continued, and Yazid kidnapped women. Another report came from a Syrian merchant about the loss of his 12-year-old daughter, then a report from a Sudanese woman about the loss of her daughter, Firdaus, who owned large gold jewelry. In each report, the names of Raya and Sakina were mentioned. Then the department warden summoned Sakina for the second time, but no evidence was found against her. What evidence was there? The indication for all these crimes was the report from a soldier during his patrol that he found the body of a woman in the street, and the presence of her bones, hair, and a white veil. They began investigating, and at the same time the department also received a report from a man digging to make extensions in his house about the presence of a woman’s bones. Due to the severity of the news, he began to ask questions. The owner of the house turned out to be a man named Muhammad Al-Samni. The latter rents houses for his own account. Upon investigation, it was found that Raya and Sakina had resided in this house, specifically Sakina, as she was expelled from the house due to the appearance of the original owner of the house. She had done the impossible to return to this house, but the neighbors were fed up with her behavior and her behavior. Her behavior and the men who frequent her with suspicious women. Then the department officer's thinking began to investigate due to the emergence of this strong evidence. He went to the room in which Raya lived and began digging. Then Raya was surprised by the presence of a seal, God bless her husband. She was terrified when the officer asked her about this seal. She became confused and said that this was her husband's seal, but there were two men there, Orabi and Abdul Razzaq. She recognized her. Orabi and Abdel Razzaq were summoned and interrogated, and when the bodies were discovered, they were those of Firdaus, Zanouba, and Amina, and when the houses in which Raya and Sakina lived were discovered. It was found that the rest of the bodies were there, and their number reached 17.
