There are many steps that must be taken before dyeing the hair, including the following:
- Not washing the hair for two days before dyeing it, to preserve the scalp’s natural oils, in order to protect the scalp from irritation.
- Ensure that the hair is clean if the colors used are natural.
- Read the instructions, you must read the instructions on the packaging carefully before starting to dye the hair, as the instructions for use differ from one dye to another, taking into account the application of the instructions accurately.
- Prepare the dye, by bringing a plastic container and a brush, then put the dye and hydrogen in it and mix them well using the brush to get a homogeneous mixture, and make sure that the quantity is sufficient.
- Putting a small amount of Vaseline or any kind of moisturizing cream on the forehead and ears; so that the dye does not stick to them.
