Berlin is located in the north-east of the state of Germany, and it is the capital of Germany, and the second largest city in the European Union in terms of population. Baltic Sea, 52.52 km north of the Czech-German border, 13.41 km east of the former inner German border, and 43 km west of Poland.

- Museum Island: This island is considered one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, as it is home to some of the best exhibitions, such as: the Neues Museum, the Altes Museum, the Pergamon Museum, and the Bode Museum. - Berlin Wall: It is a barrier built in 1961 AD by the German Democratic Republic, which separated West Berlin from East Berlin.
