One day he passed in front of a Christian church, and heard voices from it, where people were praying, as he was amazed by this prayer, and he did not know it, and that was because his father imprisoned him, so he admired the prayer and this religion, so he spent a long time in the church, and when he returned home he told his father What he saw and told him of his intention to embrace this religion, so his father rejected the idea, so Salman insisted, so it was only from his father that he tied and tied him up so that he would not go out and be Christian. And he had asked those he saw in the church about the origin of their religion, and they told him that he was in the Levant, so he asked them to send to him when a delegation came to them from the Levant. Salman arrived in the Levant, and asked about the best scholar of this religion, so they directed him to a Christian bishop, who informed him of his intention to embrace his religion, and his intention to serve him and learn from him the teachings of this religion. Indeed, Salman began to learn from this bishop, and contrary to what was expected, this bishop was a bad man, a thief, and a fraudster who took people's money untruthfully and in the name of religion - and how many of these people exist, as they exist in every time and place, and they are not monopolized by a particular religion, but rather exist in all religions and denominations -, his thought Salman for his disgraceful actions, which may tarnish the image of his religion before his image -, so this bishop died, and when people gathered around him, Salman directed them to the place where he was hiding their money, and revealed his secret to the people. Then a new bishop came to the church, and this new bishop was a righteous man, an ascetic, and a worshipper. So Salman loved him intensely and attached to him a lot, and they stayed with him for a long time. He remained religious and moral unlike all the people this bishop knew. And Salman went again to Mosul to join this man, and when he arrived, he inferred his place and stayed with him, and he found him, as his owner described him, a good man, and when his death approached, he also recommended him to join another man in two shares, who is also religious and righteous, and he did not change or change, and when he died, Salman joined this The man lived with him, and he found him good and righteous, then when his death approached, he advised him to join a man in Amuriyah Saleh and Abed, so Salman joined him, and in Amuriyah Salman earned some cows and sheep through work, and when the death of a righteous man neared Amoriyah, Salman asked him: To whom do you recommend me, so he told him That he no longer knew a righteous man as he and those before him were, and he also told him that a time had come for a prophet on the religion of Abraham - peace be upon him - and told him that he would emerge from among the Arabs and on their land, and gave him his characteristics, which is that he does not accept alms for himself, but he accepts gifts. The righteous man died, and after a period of time a delegation of Arabs came to Amoriyah for trade, so he asked them to take him with them in exchange for what he had gained from sheep and cows, so they agreed, and when they arrived in the Valley of the Villages, the people betrayed him, so they sold him to a Jewish man, so the Jew took him with him as a slave So he stayed with him, and he saw palm trees in the area, and in his heart he wished that he had reached the place that the good man of Amoriyah had told him about before his death. One day, a man from Banu Qurayza came to the Jew and he was close to him, so he bought Salman from this Jew and took him to Medina - Yathrib - so he recognized it directly from the description of the man who was residing with him in Amoriyah, and he knew it from Al-Hartain, after which he sent Muhammad in Mecca, but he He did not know about his news because of the state of slavery in which he was until the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - migrated to Medina, so while he was working, he heard a man insulting the Ansar because of their meeting with a man who came from Makkah Al-Mukarramah believing that he is a prophet sent from God, and Salman heard This saying while he was on a palm tree, so he accepted to fall from it when he heard this saying, and he approached this man from whom he heard this speech and grabbed him and shook him while saying to him: What do you say? Repeat what did you say? His master hit him hard because of his anger at Salman's behavior at the time.

And when the night came, he gathered what he had collected of food and took it and went with it to meet the Prophet Muhammad, and it was Salman's intention to make sure of the signs that the righteous man said, so he sat in the hands of the Messenger of God for the first time, and began to test him and make sure of the signs, so he presented him with food as charity, and he justified He had this because he wanted to feed him because he knew that he was coming from a journey and he was tired, so the Messenger did not eat from it and distributed it to his companions and those who were with him. So Salman returned to presenting food to him as a gift, then the Messenger - may God bless him and grant him peace - ate from it. Here, Salman Al-Farsi made sure of two signs, and the third remained.

The fates coincided for a Muslim man to die, and the Messenger of God was in it, as the burial was in the Al-Baqi cemetery, so while the Messenger was sitting when Salman approached and greeted him and began circling around the Messenger, the Messenger - may God bless him and grant him peace - understood with his extreme intelligence, intellect and quick wit that he wanted to He saw a specific thing, so the Messenger threw the cloak from his shoulders, so the ring appeared clearly, and as soon as Salman saw the sight of the ring and was sure of it, he bent down on the Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - approaching him while he was crying, so he told the Messenger his entire story, and the Messenger - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him Interested that his companions also hear the whole story as well.

And Salman did not witness neither the battle of Badr nor the battle of anyone because of the state of slavery in which he was, and this situation did not please the Messenger - may God bless him and grant him peace - as he wanted Salman to be close to him and his Muslim brothers, so he ordered him to negotiate with his master over his slavery, so he and his master agreed On the required ransom, and the Messenger helped him to perform it, so he gave him a golden egg that had been gifted to the Messenger. Thus, Salman was freed from slavery, and embarked on the journey of his life.
