Saturday is my test
God willing, my test will be on Saturday
I am absent from you, my dear, so excuse me
I swear it was against me, not by my choice
These are my circumstances, you must bear with me
I am tormented by your separation while you are my home
A minute without you is an eternity that tires me out
Surely you feel my torment and my fire
And I feel your torment that tortured me
Because of medicine, I left my neighbor
And none of my companions remember me
Medicine has lost all my thoughts
There are always tests, and God gives me patience
I am the only one who can pass the test
He threw a second test before my eyes
I'm tired of studying day and night
I forgot love and love forgot me
My friends say I am a traitor
They say I sold them and that I am selfish
They don't know what happened to me
I suffer from trickery
Praise be to God, I am satisfied with fate
I have to be patient with what happened to me
Oh God, with your permission and opinion, I will continue
I have a test on the second Saturday
Sadness assails me
Sadness kills me

And the injustice of a lover tortures me
Oh what a life this is
Which is all endless pain
Wounds that don't heal
And tears from the eyes running
I hurt my cheek
It made my bed rest
And robbed my sleep
Oh my heart
How patient you are
Do not be unfair to your beloved
Despite his many injustices
And his great wound
The one that never heals or goes away
You still love him
Despite all evils
You still adore him
Despite injustice and immorality
You still miss him
Despite his arrogance
My heart and my heart itches
For how long? For how long?
Tell me, for God's sake, how long?
This is patience
This is skin and endurance
How long will this vigil and contemplation last?

Stop this, stop
So I hate him as I hated him
And I abandoned what I abandoned
And I was tortured as you were tortured
And I was wronged as I was wronged
And I hurt you as I was hurt
I suffered a lot
And I was very patient
On a lover who does not know
Love has meaning
Isn't it time for you, my heart, to stop all this?
For God's sake, my heart, stop
