Ways to remove oil stains

Talcum powder

One of the important features of this material is that it has a high ability to absorb liquids and can be used for sensitive and white fabrics, as it does not cause fading in the color of clothes. Sprinkle talcum powder on the oil stain and press it until the oil absorbs the amount of powder, then leave it for at least half an hour before washing with water. If the oil stain is large, soak it in water for between a third and half an hour, then wash it naturally with water.

Vinegar

It is a substance rich in a lot of astringent substances that are useful in breaking up oil stains, in addition to the pleasant smell that it gives to clothes. It is used to remove oil stains by mixing an amount of it with an equal amount of hot water and soaking colored clothes in it to protect the fabric from fading or fabric spoilage, then rubbing it. The stain is well removed, and if the stain does not disappear, you can add another amount of vinegar and rub the fabric again, then dry the fabric with hot air to ensure that there are no remaining stains.

Lemon

Lemon is a good remover and bleach for oil stains. All that can be done is to squeeze the lemon onto the oil stain and rub it, or use lemon peel to rub the oil stain and then leave it until it dries. Hot water and oil cannot mix, so hot water breaks up the oil stain. It is used by placing the clothes affected by the oil stain and spreading them out, then pouring hot water that has reached boiling point over the oil stain and rubbing the stain with an old toothbrush, then using washing up liquid rich in lemon and rubbing the spot.
