  • Eight intersecting pieces measuring 4.4 x 12 centimetres.
  • A package of waterproof wood glue.
  • Thin rough drilling screws, 3.2 cm long.
  • A bottle of paint in the desired color.

  • Assemble the pieces of the upper part in a pyramidal or circular shape according to the desired shape of the lantern, then secure them with glue, and then with a press.
  • Cut the glass to a size that matches the size of the wood panels, knowing that the glass panels should be approximately 0.2 centimeters smaller than the wood panels.
  • Attach the glass pieces to the sides of the lantern using glue.

  • Wait until the glue dries completely on the four pieces of wood.
  • Place clear tape over the design paper to secure it to the wood.

  • Cut an arc shape from the outside edge of the wood pieces with a hacksaw.
