The history of the backgammon game goes back To (3000) BC, and this game is played by two players, each of whom has (15) discs of a different color, in addition to a stone of dice.

How to learn backgammon

The goal of the backgammon game is to get your discs out of the game box before the opponent player, where each player tries to prevent the other player from advancing. As each point on the board is represented by a specific number (24) on the two boards, for example, the first point on the board is represented by the number (1), while the last point on the board is represented by the number (24), and the numbers are arranged clockwise.

In the event that the game begins, the circular pieces or discs are placed as follows:

• We put two or two tablets on the number in box (24).
• Then we put five pieces or discs on the box number (13).
• Then we put three pieces or discs on the box number (8).
• And we put five pieces or disks on the box number (6).
• And the opponent does the same thing by cutting it, but it is in reverse.

Then it is chosen who will start the game by moving the dice piece first, where each player moves his own dice and the one who gets the highest number is the one who starts the game in his favour, as he who will start the game benefits from the numbers that appear at the beginning of the game, and the game is the opposite Clockwise, where each opponent takes turns moving the dice piece, and each opponent moves the pieces according to the number on the dice, and you can put the discs on 1 of 3 of the open points, and these points are:

• The point is empty.
• And another point where there are deductibles,
• And another point where there is only one piece of the other opponent's pieces.

If you stopped on one of the points mentioned, or what is called the piece is not protected, then your opponent's piece is sent to the barrier area, so this piece remains on the barrier until the owner of this piece can return it again, and that is by moving the dice stone and when the player gets the same number.
