How to grow plants at home

- Make sure that the plant gets a sufficient amount of sunlight, and that it is not exposed to it so that it does not wither or get burned. Houseplants differ from other plants in terms of sensitivity to strong light.
- Water it with water when needed; Houseplants need water, but in moderate quantities. Too much of it causes them to die and too little of it causes them to wither. Therefore, they must be watered with water until it comes out from the bottom of their basin, and the basin must contain at least one hole at the bottom so that excess water can come out of it.
- Watch out for plant pests; Plants sometimes attract insects that eat them, causing them to lose their freshness and wilt. Some plants are less susceptible to insects than others. Plants with thin leaves tend to attract spiders and whiteflies, while others attract bugs or worms, and a person must learn how to recognize these pests, how to deal with them, and the medications he needs to get rid of them.

- Place the plant next to the window; So that it gets sufficient air, and avoid placing it in places where strong air reaches it.
