The iPhone can be connected to the Apple TV, by following these steps:

• Ensure that the AirPlay feature on Apple TVs is activated, and this is done by entering the TV settings, and then selecting “AirPlay” from among the existing options. A new menu will appear, and it is confirmed that the first option in it is activated (it bears the word “On” ), and if not, then it is activated.
• Make sure that both devices (iPhone and TV) are connected to the same wireless network.
• Open the “Control Center” (in English: Control Center) by dragging the screen from the bottom up.
• Pressing the “AirPlay Mirroring” button, and then selecting the TV to which you want to connect the phone, and thus a specific icon will appear on the TV screen.
• The code shown on the screen is entered into the iPhone, and the connection between the phone and the TV will be established.

using DLNA technology

Most wireless TVs support the ability to connect mobile devices to them via DLNA technology. To connect the iPhone to the TV using this technology, an application that supports this process must be installed, and one of these applications is the ArkMC application, which is available in the Apple App Store (in English: App Store), and it is used as follows:

• Ensure that the DLNA feature is enabled on the TV through the settings.
• Establish a wireless network connection from both devices (phone and TV).
• Open the ArkMC application.
• Click on the “Arkuda DMS” option, and then choose “Music, photos, or videos”.
• Choose your TV from the list that appears.

Android devices

using the Miracast feature

In order to connect the mobile phone running the Android operating system to the TV through the Miracast feature, you must first make sure that the mobile phone supports this feature, and the TV must also support it, or that the user has a Miracast connection that is connected to the TV, in addition to that, it must be a version of Android is either 4.2 or later. To connect the phone to the TV through the Miracast feature, the following steps are followed:

• After connecting the Miracast connection to the TV or activating the feature in it, the TV input source will be converted to be via Miracast.
• Through the Android device, go to Settings, and then choose Display settings, then select “Wireless Display”, knowing that this step may differ from one device to another.
• Activate the “Wireless Display” feature, and then wait until the phone finds the desired TV.

using the Chromecast feature

In order to connect the Android mobile phone to the TV via the Chromecast feature, the phone must be running Android 4.4.2 or later, and the TV must support this feature. To connect the phone to the TV via the Chromecast feature, the following steps are followed:

• Install the “Google Home” application, if it is not already installed.
• Ensure that the mobile phone as well as the TV are connected to the same wireless network.
• Go to the Google Home application, then open the menu and select “Cast Screen/Audio”.
• Press the blue button and choose the TV you want to connect with.
