Earth's shape and dimensions

The Earth is the viable planet, because it contains all the elements that qualify it for all living beings to live on it. All the gases necessary for living are present on it, and water, the appropriate environment and gravity all helped in being the best place and the perfect planet for life.

Planet Earth contains land and water. Land is divided into continents that are shared by groups in what is known as countries. These continents are the European continent, the Asian continent, the African continent, the North American continent, and the South American continent, in addition to the Oceanian continent. As for the oceans and water bodies Planet Earth contains many water bodies such as the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea, the Black Sea, the Nile River, the Amazon River, Lake Galilee, the Arctic Ocean, Antarctica, and many other bodies scattered all over the world.

Earth is the third planet in the solar system, and it is at a distance from the sun that allows the inhabitants of this planet to live without being harmed by its excessive heat or cold due to the lack of solar radiation reaching it. And the earth takes a spherical shape close to the oval, where the average radius of the earth is about 6400 km, while its circumference measured at the equator line, which is the line that divides the earth into two parts, the northern section and the southern section, its circumference at this line is more than 40000 km, and its volume is estimated at about 1012 cubic km, while the mass of the Earth is about 6 x 1024 kg, the gravity of the Earth’s surface is estimated at about 9.7 meters per square second, the years are calculated by the Earth’s rotation around the sun, as it takes the Earth 365 and a quarter of a day to complete a complete revolution around The sun, as for the day, it is a complete revolution of the earth around itself, as it takes the earth to complete a complete revolution around itself about 24 hours, and the week is divided into seven days, while the month contains four weeks and two days, i.e. 30 days, while the year is divided into two Ten months, and these divisions are what give man the ability to calculate times and ages knowing the days, which makes it easier for him to perform all operations and measure time. The moon that follows the earth also revolves around the earth, and this moon needs about 30 days a full month to complete its full cycle around the earth, and some eastern calendars rely on the moon in their calendars.
