Because this problem has become a problem for many people, whether they are old or young, and the causes of bone pain vary from one person to another depending on gender, age, and health condition. Among the most prominent causes of bone problems are:

 

Causes of bone pain

  • Exposure to fractures, where the fracture is accompanied by severe pain.
  • Various diseases such as brucellosis, which causes severe pain in the bones and joints, and rickets, which leads to bone deformity.
  • Bone thinning as a result of aging, poor nutrition, and a lack of calcium in the bones.
  • Sleeping improperly, on an uneven surface.
  • Doing strenuous work, excessive physical effort, or practicing incorrect types of sports and physical activity.
  • Osteoporosis, which leads to back pain and fractures of the spinal vertebrae.
  • Carrying heavy weights, especially on the shoulders and back.
  • Arthritis (joint osteoarthritis), which causes pain in the joints and then in the bones.
  • Low body temperature due to extreme cold, which often leads to pain in the bones and joints.

Prevention of bone pain

Preventing the body's bones and maintaining their integrity can be achieved through several methods:

  • Go to the doctor periodically, to conduct the necessary tests to ensure the safety and health of the bones and joints.
  • Make sure to eat a balanced diet; This is because the body’s bone structure is affected by the quality of food, and ensuring that the food contains calcium and vitamin D, as these two elements contribute to maintaining the strength of the bones and the integrity of their structure.
  • Do exercises to maintain bone fitness, and be careful not to do them incorrectly. Because this causes pain in the bones.
  • Be careful not to move the broken part in the event of a fracture, and immobilize the broken member until treatment is obtained.

 

Bone pain treatment

Herbal treatment that relieves bone pain. The most important examples of this are:

  • Use chili pepper, which is effective in treating back pain. Red pepper is brought, then the salad is mixed smoothly with Vaseline, an amount of chili pepper is added, and then the pain is applied to the area.
  • Use volatile oils that are effective in treating pain, such as: vegetable oils such as olive oil.
  • Eat herbs that protect against bone diseases, such as: fenugreek, parsley, watercress, and licorice.
  • Resorting to hot water baths found in nature, such as Maeen baths in Jordan, as they contain natural minerals that contribute to alleviating bone pain, and using Dead Sea water.
  • Resorting to physical therapy sessions and performing massages in the event of bone deformity as a result of exposure to accidents, or in cases of congenital deformity in bone structure.
