• Manufacturing Method:
  • A semi-circle is drawn on the paper with a pencil and using a cycloid so that the length of the diameter of the required hat is equal to the radius of this circle. For example, if the diameter of the hat is 30 cm, then the circle to be drawn has a diameter of 60 cm.
  • The drawn semi-circle is cut out with paper scissors and decorated as desired with stamps and stickers, or with various decorative means, provided that it is not heavy, and it can also be painted in another color and left to dry.

This paper hat is similar to the hat worn by sailors, and it is very popular with children. It is made easily without the need for many components, using paper of the required color and measuring 21 * 27 cm or more, so that it fits the size of the head, by following the following method:

• The paper is folded in half lengthwise, then the edge of the fold is determined by passing the finger and tightening it well, then it is opened again.
• The center of the paper is determined and folded in half, then the upper corner is folded so that two identical triangles are formed on both sides.
• The edges of the previous triangles are strongly defined so that they remain in place, paying attention to the necessity of having an extra rectangular part of the paper below these triangles.
• The front cover of the previous rectangle is folded towards the top so that the bottom edge of the paper meets the base of the triangles, and the fingers are passed along the edges to define it well.
• The cover itself is folded again towards the top until it overlaps the two triangles, then the bottom edge is determined by running the finger over it forcefully.
• Turn the paper over and repeat the previous two steps, but by folding the back cover of the rectangle under the triangles this time in the same way.
• The hat is opened from the middle and formed with the fingers of the hand, and it can be fixed more by adding a small adhesive tape in the areas of the ends, or at the meeting point of the triangles, then wearing it and trying it on.

• Place half of a newspaper on the workbench with the short side facing the person.
• The newspaper is folded from right to left, with the fold line well defined.

• The two corners are folded on the front side of the newspaper so that they form two triangles, but they do not meet in the middle on the line of the first fold, rather they are slightly away from it, and their edges are well defined.
