  • Central marks are placed in the middle of all the walls of the room, then the mark in the middle is determined, and a straight line is drawn from it with chalk so that it connects the center of each wall to the other wall opposite it.
  • The parquet boards are arranged on the floor, starting from the central point where the vertical chalk lines intersect with the walls along each line. The lines must be adjusted, while the parquet needs to be cut in one half more than the other half before starting to apply adhesives.
  • Specialized glue, which includes strong adhesives to ensure that the parquet pieces are attached to each other, is applied using a notched trowel held at an angle of 45 degrees. The adhesive is then placed in an appropriate and sufficient quantity on the subfloor under the parquet piece. Cleaning and caring for parquet floors

Most types of wooden parquet floors are easy to clean, as they only require regular care and gentle and gentle cleaning, and they can be cleaned at least once a week if they are not dirty, using a mop dampened with water without the need for soap or harsh detergents that may harm their surface, and let us not forget It is necessary not to pour water on it, in addition to the possibility of painting some types of parquet wood according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. On the other hand, the quality of the parquet is considered a basis that supports and protects it from scratching or staining, especially if it is taken care of and polished regularly by the manufacturer, and polished every two years.
