Judgment and across

Praise be to God, and may blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, the best of creation. As for what follows, God has graciously allowed us to issue judgment from the mouths of the prophets and the righteous. This was their habit. God inspires them with the right words and deeds, so that the judgment will then appear to us clear and clear. So come, my honorable brother, let us dive into this sea. We extract pearls and coral from it.

Our Master Al-Khidr, peace be upon him, says (Be smiling and do not laugh, do not be arrogant, do not walk around needlessly, do not get tired of the sins of those who sin, and cry over your sins)

Whenever our master Zain al-Abidin wanted to pray, his face would turn white in fear of God, and one of the predecessors would say, “If you want to know your standing with God, look where He has placed you.” Ibn Taymiyyah, may God have mercy on him, said that the heart dances in joy at the remembrance of God. He also said that gratitude is the preserver of present blessings and the bringer of future blessings. One of the predecessors said, “The remembrance of God is the factory of faith.”

Our master Ali, may God be pleased with him, says:

1-(I will be patient until patience becomes incapable of my patience. I will be patient until the Most Merciful looks into my matter. I will be patient until patience knows that I have been patient with something more bitter than patience)

2- Cover up your brother for his faults, and cover up his sins.

15- Mix with people with your tongues and bodies, and separate them with your deeds and hearts.

16- Stinginess is a disgrace, cowardice is a defect, a poor person is a stranger in his town, incapacity is a scourge, patience is courage, and asceticism is wealth.

Luqman’s famous saying:

My son! Hope in God with a hope that you will not feel safe from his deception, and fear God with a fear that will not despair of His mercy. My son! More than saying: Lord, forgive me, for God has an hour when no one who asks will be rejected. My son! Action is not possible except with certainty, and whoever weakens his certainty weakens his work. My son! If Satan comes to you from doubt and suspicion, defeat him with certainty, and if he comes to you from boredom, overcome him with remembrance of the grave and resurrection, and if he comes to you from desire and dread, tell him that the world is a parting and abandoned. My son! Take fear of God as a trade, and profit will come to you without any merchandise. My son! Beware of lying, for it is as delicious as the meat of a bird when its owner fries for a little while. My son! Do not eat one full after another, for giving it to the dog is better than eating it. My son! Do not be too sweet to swallow, nor too bitter to spit out. My son! Do not delay repentance, death comes suddenly. My son! Fear God, and do not let people see that you fear God so that they may honor you with that while your heart is immoral. My son! I have never regretted being silent, even if speech is silver, silence is gold. My son! Avoid evil as it distances you, for evil is created for evil. My son! May you have high resolve in seeking Paradise and determination to bear martyrdom for the sake of God. My son! Choose the gatherings on your own, and if you see a gathering in which God Almighty is mentioned, sit with them, for if you are knowledgeable, your knowledge will benefit you, and if you are weak, they will teach you, and if God Almighty looks to them with mercy, He will be with them. My son! Raise your banner, the banner of truth, and your bond for the sake of God is better than any good in this world. My son! Put yourself in the position of someone who has no need of you and whom you do not need. My son! The wisdom seated needy councils Kings. My son! Sitting with scholars and crowding them with your knees, for God revives dead hearts with the light of wisdom just as He revives dead earth with the rain of heaven. My son! Refrain from what comes out of your mouth, for if you remain silent, you are safe. Rather, you should say what benefits you. My son! Since you came down to this world, you have turned to it and welcomed the other. The home you are heading towards is closer to the home you are far away from. My son! Beware of debt, for the humiliation of the day is the concern of the night. My son! Do not eat your food, but pious, and consultation in order sages. My son! Whoever lies, his face will be lost, and whoever has bad character, his grief will increase. My son! Moving rocks from their places is easier than explaining to someone who does not understand. My son! Know that jihad is the pinnacle of Islam.

The first thing that appeared of his wisdom was that he was with his master, so his master entered the toilet and sat for a long time, so Luqman called out to him: Prolonged sitting in need makes the liver better, causes hemorrhoids, and raises the heat to the head, so he sat for a while and got up, so his master came out and wrote his wisdom on the door of the toilet, and it was said : His master was gambling, and there was a flowing river at his door, so one day he played dice on the idea that his friend’s moon would drink all of the water in the river or make a ransom from it! Sayyid Luqman gambled, and the gambler said to him: Drink what is in the river, otherwise make ransom from it! He said: So he asked me for ransom? He said: Are your eyes gouged out or all you have? He said: Give me this day. He said: You have that.

Then he became sad and sad, when Luqman came to him carrying a bundle of firewood on his back. He greeted his master, then put what he had with him and returned to his master. Whenever his master saw him, he played with him and heard the wise words from him and was amazed by him. When he sat down to him, he said to his master: Why do I see you so sad and sad? So he turned away from it, and the second said to him like that, so he turned away from it, then the third said to him like that, so he turned away from it, so he said to him: Tell me, so perhaps you can find relief from me? So he told him the story, and Luqman said to him: Do not be sad, for with me there is relief for you. He said: What is it? He said: If a man comes to you and tells you to drink what is in the river, then tell him: Do you drink what is between the banks of the river or the tide? For he will tell you to drink what is between the two banks, and if he tells you that, tell him to hold back the tide for me until I drink what is between the two banks, for he cannot hold back the tide for you, and you will have gone out of what you guaranteed him. So his master knew that he was telling the truth, and his soul rejoiced, so he freed him.

And from his wisdom, as Ibn Jarir narrated, Ibn Waki’ told us, my father told us, on the authority of Abu Al-Ashhab, on the authority of Khalid Al-Ruba’i, who said: Luqman was an Abyssinian slave, a carpenter, and his master said to him: Slay this sheep for us. So he slaughtered it, and he said: Take out the two best parts of it, so he took out the tongue and the heart, and he stayed. God willing. Then he said: Slay this sheep for us. He slaughtered it, and he said: Bring out the two most vile organs in it, so he took out the tongue and the heart. Then his master said to him: I ordered you to bring out the two best organs in it, so you took them out. I ordered you to bring out the two most vile organs in it, so you took them out. Then Luqman said: It is nothing. Better than the two if they are good, and no more vile than the two if they are bad.

In the end, smile, my brother, for God did not take from you except to give you, and He did not test you except because He loved you, and He did not make you cry except to make you laugh, and He did not deprive you except to be gracious to you.
