Ibn Zaydun's poetry appeared at the age of twenty, when he uttered an eloquent epitaph on the tomb of Judge Ibn Dhakwan upon his death. In the field of poets and writers, and people testify to her good council and the beauty of her smile and face. It did not take long for the relationship between them to develop, as she sent him a replying message to him after he insisted on meeting her:

Stay tuned if it gets dark visit me

I saw the night keeping the secret

And from you as if the sun did not insist

And the full moon did not rise, and the star did not set

However, their secret was soon revealed to the people, and rumors circulated that Ibn Zaydun loves a slave girl, and one of them was called Ibn Abdus, trying to obtain a childbirth based on his money, and he succeeded in that, which aroused the ire of Ibn Zaydun, and he began to attack Ibn Abdus in a scathing way that turned his love The daughter of Al-Mustakfi to intense hatred and hatred. Ibn Abdus did not shy away from plotting the intrigues of Ibn Zaydun, so he accused him of squandering money entrusted with it, so he landed him in prison, but that did not make him forget his birth and wrote his famous non-stop:

Altanaaani has become a substitute for our condemnation

And it was good for us to meet us.

Except that the morning of the clear morning has come

When he stood up to us for a while we mourned

Introducing Ibn Zaydun

He is Abu Al-Walid Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Makhzoumi Al-Andalusi. He was one of the most famous poets of Bani Makhzoum, as he was their end, and he is considered one of the sons of the faces of the jurists in Cordoba. As for his writing in prose, it was modest and not much was mentioned to him. He was nicknamed (the Bahtri of Morocco). Ibn Zaydun was born in Cordoba in 1003 AD, and his father died when he was eleven years old. As for his death, it was on 1071 AD, as a result of his illnesses.

Ibn Zaydun was distinguished by his poetry, as he was the most prominent poet of Andalusia because of his unique linguistic and poetic taste, and he was praised by everyone who knew him, as he was well-versed in the poetry of the East, as he used to take from those who preceded him from the poets of Andalusia, but he kept his distinctive poetic personality. His poetry used to relax the heart and dominate it, to enable him to write what came to his mind without artificiality and in a simple, smooth language that had no crookedness or distortion.
