  • We follow the on-screen setup steps until we get to the Data & Apps screen, then click on Restore from iCloud backup.
  • We sign in to iCloud with our Apple ID.
  • We choose a backup, look at the date and size of each of them, then choose the most suitable for us, then the transfer begins after that, and if a message appears stating that we need a new version of (iOS), we must follow the steps that appear to us on the update screen, but if The steps on the screen that facilitate the update did not appear to us, so we must know what we must do.

  • We remain connected, and we wait for the progress bar to appear to us and its completion, depending on the network speed and the size of the backup, the progress bar may need several minutes or an hour to complete, and if we disconnect the (Wi-Fi) network after a short period of time for the task, it will result in Progress pauses until reconnection.
  • We can complete the setup, enjoy the device, and the contents of the device, such as music and pictures, that are in the background will continue to be restored over successive days or hours, depending on the amount of information available, and we must always be careful to connect to the (Wi-Fi) network, and connect the device power until the process is complete.

  • We connect our device to the computer via a USB cable, and if a message asks us for the passcode of our device, or to trust the computer used, we follow the steps that appear to us on the screen, but if we forget the passcode, we ask for help.
  • We identify our iPhone when it appears in iTunes, but if our device does not appear in iTunes, we need to know what to do.
  • We select to restore the backup in (iTunes), and if we see a message telling us that the software of the (iOS) device is out of date, we need to know what we need to do.
  • We look at the size and date of each backup, and then choose the most appropriate one.
  • We click on the word (Restore), then we wait for a while until the restoration process is completed, and if we are prompted, we enter the password for our backup copy.
  • We keep our device connected after restarting it, wait a while for it to sync with our computer, and we can disconnect after the synchronization is complete.
