Work of Qassim lamps

The lamps

It is one of the most popular dishes in Saudi Arabia. This recipe is prepared salty or sweet according to the ingredients that are added to it. It was given this name because it is prepared by pouring it on a baking tray for preparing bread. Musabib is distinguished by its high nutritional value due to its preparation from wheat flour, which is rich in minerals, vitamins, and dietary fiber. One of the most famous types of lamps is those prepared in the Saudi city of Qassim. In this article, we will show several ways to prepare lamps.

  • We heat the baking sheet or use a non-stick frying pan over medium heat, then we start pouring the dough into the middle of the frying pan, lift it, and rotate the frying pan in a circular way until we get a regular, circular loaf.
  • We leave the dough without moving it until we notice bubbles appearing on top, then we turn it over to the other side until it browns.
