It was said that the veteran is the one who spent half his life in pre-Islamic times and the other half in Islam, and it was said that he who realized both of them, and among the veteran poets: Kaab bin Zuhair, Hassan bin Thabit, Labid bin Rabi’a, Nabigha bin Ja’dah, Abu Zaid, Amr bin Shas, Al-Zabarqan bin Badr, Amr bin Maadi Karb, and Ma’n bin Aws.

She is Tamadur bint Amr bin Al-Harith bin Al-Sharid Al-Salamiyah. She was born in 575 AD in the Arabian Peninsula. She had a short, high-pointed nose. This is why she was called Al-Khansa, and she was famous for her strength of personality and freedom of opinion. She grew up in the house of Ezz with her father and her brothers Muawiyah and Sakhr, and she was proud of their generosity and their presence in her poems. She refused to marry Duraid bin Al-Sammah, a knight from Banu Jashm, and married her cousin Mirdas bin Abi Amer Al-Sulami to give birth to Yazid, Muawiyah, Amr, and Amra. Al-Khansaa is considered one of the veteran poets. Because she lived in two eras: pre-Islamic times and Islam, and she converted to Islam after the emergence of Islam, and she died in 664 AD.

Hassan bin thabet

He is Abu Al-Walid Hassan bin Thabit bin Al-Mundhir bin Haram. He belongs to the Khazraj tribe, which moved from Yemen to Hijaz to reside in Medina next to Al-Aws. Hassan was born eight years before the birth of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace. He lived in pre-Islamic times for sixty years, and in Islam for another sixty years, and grew up in a house of pride and honour. His father was one of the people’s masters and nobles, and Hassan’s poetry was famous for his satire, his pride in the Ansar, his praise of Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, the Ghassanids, al-Nu’man ibn al-Mundhir and others. He described drinking gatherings and said some flirtations. However, after his conversion to Islam, he adhered to the principles of Islam.
