The novel Men in the Sun is considered one of the most beautiful Arab works of fiction by the Palestinian writer Ghassan Kanafani, and it was published in 1963 AD, and it was turned into a movie entitled “The Deceived” in 1972 AD, and the novel tells the story of the suffering of three men from the occupied Palestinian territories, who chose to flee their country As a way to escape, the three men make an agreement with a smuggler to cross the border between the states of Iraq and Kuwait.

These men are smuggled through the tank of a transport vehicle, in which they hide when approaching a checkpoint, and exit as soon as they finish it and overtake it. From entering Kuwaiti territory, the soldier prolongs the interrogation of the driver, so that the driver gets distracted and forgets them, so the blazing sun heats them inside, until the driver discovers, after it is too late, that they have all suffocated and died.

The novel “They Hear Her Feelings” is considered one of the most beautiful Arabic novels by the writer Ayman Al-Atoum, in which the writer tells the story of the life of a Syrian prisoner, a doctor who spent nearly seventeen years in Tadmor prison without a clear charge, and in which the doctor tells the details of the period he spent in prison, the torment he was subjected to, and then He is released at the end of the novel by a general amnesty, without trial, or a clear and real reason.
