Methods of chemical control of termites

  • Use insecticides to control this insect.
  • Introducing predators to them, as there are many other insects and predators for which termites are a heavy meal, such as spiders, flies, wasps, regular ants, reptiles, birds and bats, so they can be shed on their whereabouts in order to eliminate them.
  • Adding organic matter to the soil, as there are types of termites that feed on dead plants in the soil, and when organic fertilizer is added to the soil or mixed fertilizer to it, these dead plants decrease and disappear, so it remains without a source of food, so it dies and is disposed of.
  • avoid using inorganic fertilizers; Because this type of fertilizer helps soft tissue plants grow rapidly, which provides more and more food sources for termites, so they grow, nest and reproduce in these places.
  • Getting rid of its nests, as it is possible to search for the nests of the termite insect, if possible, and destroy it, and kill the queen that causes reproduction.
