Teaching prayer by watching

The role of parents in teaching prayer to the child

Islam urges parents of children to raise children well, and to bring them up in an upbringing based on virtuous morals, and to perform acts of worship. (Order your children to pray when they are seven years old, and beat them for it when they are ten years old, and separate them in their beds). Prayer can also be instilled in the hearts of children from an early age, by buying prayer clothes for the girl, and allocating a prayer rug for the boy, as this is one of the simplest and easiest ways to endear the child to prayer.
