Al-Rumaisa (Umm Salim)
Umm Salim was famous by her nickname, but her name was disputed and it was said.
She is easy, it is said that she is Ramila, and it is said that she is Malika.
She is Umm Sulaym bint Malhan bin Khalid bin Zaid bin Haram bin Jund bin Amer bin Ghanam bin Adi bin Al-Najjar.
It was described with many descriptions, including: Al-Ghumaisa, Al-Rumaisa, or Al-Rumaisa.
Her brother: Haram bin Malhan.
I converted to Islam along with the Ansar who came before Islam.
She was the first woman whose dowry was Islam.
Al-Bukhari narrated from the hadith of Jabir bin Abdullah, may God be pleased with them, who said: The Prophet said: (You saw me entering Paradise, and when I was in Rumaysa’, Abu Talha’s wife, I heard a whisper and I said: Who is this? He said: Bilal, and I saw a palace with a slave girl in its courtyard, so I said to whom? He said: Omar’s, so I wanted to enter it. So I looked at him and mentioned your jealousy, so Omar said, “May my father and mother be sacrificed, O Messenger of God: Should I be jealous of you?”
