How to prepare red jareesh with chicken

Ingredients

  • Four cups of jareesh.
  • A quarter cup of corn oil.
  • kilogram of chicken.
  • Four onions cut into quarters.
  • Ten cloves of mashed garlic.
  • a tablespoon of salt.
  • Half a teaspoon of black pepper.
  • A tablespoon of cumin.
  • Four leaves of bay leaf.
  • Two tablespoons of tomato paste.
  • Four chopped ripe tomatoes.

To apply:

  • Two onions, roughly chopped.
  • A quarter cup of corn oil.
  • A teaspoon of ground lime.

How to prepare

  • We wash the groats several times, and leave it soaked in water for half an hour.
  • Put the oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  • Add the chicken to the pan, and stir well until it turns golden.
  • Remove the chicken from the pot and leave it until the oil drains.
  • Place the onions in the same pan, along with the crushed garlic, salt, black pepper, and cumin. Stir the onions well until they mix well with the spices.
  • Add the bay leaf to the mixture, then add the chicken and water, cover the pan and leave the chicken to cook for an hour.
  • Remove the chicken from the heat, remove the skin and bones.
  • Place the pan on medium heat, then add the groats, chicken, tomato paste, and chopped tomatoes, then cover the pan for two or three hours until the mixture is completely mashed.
  • Stir the groats well from time to time and add water if necessary.
  • We stir the mixture using a wooden spoon and try to mash it until the mixture becomes smooth.
  • Place the onions in a wide frying pan and fry them until they become golden in color. Add the oil and garlic, stir well, then add the ground limes and stir a little.
  • Place the groats in a large, wide dish, then add the onion mixture to it, and serve.

 

How to prepare red jareesh with meat

Ingredients

  • A kilogram of groats.
  • One and a half kilograms of meat cut into cubes.
  • Half a kilogram of finely chopped ripe tomatoes.
  • Five onions, finely chopped.
  • A cup of ghee.
  • A teaspoon of mixed spices.
  • Salt and black pepper to taste.
  • A teaspoon of red pepper.
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon.
  • Water.

How to prepare

  • Put the ghee in a wide frying pan, then put the onions in the frying pan and stir until they wilt, then add the meat and stir well until it changes color.
