Therefore, in this article, we will explain to you some of the differences between them, with some illustrative examples.
The difference between wisdom and proverbs
wisdom
- Wisdom differs from proverbs in purpose and source.
- Wisdom comes from a special experience generated by the mind after analyzing it. To reach a wisdom that benefits him in his life and benefits others from his experience.
- Wisdom is the pure judgment of the mind on an experience.
- Philosophy saw that wisdom is not philosophy; Because it gives absolute rulings and postulates, and wisdom can be transformed into a rigid matter that is taken as it is and is not like philosophy that stimulates thinking and contemplation.
- The magic of wisdom lies in the beauty of its language and the way it is presented.
- We can write from poetry wisdom that talks about a topic.
- There are many poets who wrote in it, such as: Imam Ali bin Abi Talib - may God be pleased with him -, Imam Shafi'i, Abu Al-Ala' Al-Ma'ari, and Abu Al-Tayyib Al-Mutanabi.
proverb
- A proverb is the result of a momentary situation in which a word is said and becomes a proverb, and it converges with wisdom if it results from an experience.
- The proverb is generated according to the subject, is dependent on it, and can be greatly influenced by it without realizing it.
- The charm of the proverb lies in the fact that it is very popular and available to the public. Where some proverbs can serve as popular or personal slogans due to their closeness to the spirit of the individual and his society because of its source from society.
- We can write poetry that contains a proverb, but does not go beyond the verse, and often has a direct preaching character; Unlike wisdom, which can be a discussion and sharing of experiences.

Do not be satisfied with what is below the stars
So he tasted death in a despicable matter
Like the taste of death in a great matter
Imam Shafi'i said:
If one does not take care of you except with affectation
So leave him and do not be too sorry for him
In people there is a replacement and in leaving a rest
And in the heart there is patience for the beloved, even if it becomes dry
Not everyone who loves him loves you his heart
And not everyone who cleared it for you has cleared it
If the row of wadad is not normal
There is no good in a friend that comes pretentiously
There is no good in a boyfriend who betrays his boyfriend
And he meets him after affection with dryness
And denies living may lapse of his reign
It shows a secret that was hidden yesterday
Peace be upon the world if it is not there
A truthful, honest friend, a fair promise
Salah Jahin said:
Take off your darkness, Tor, and refuse to damage
Break the gears of the waterwheel, curse and twist
He said: Just a step more, and a step more
Oh, reach the end of the track, oh well, dry up
In these verses, Salah Jahin warns the human being that his life and his quest for work, marriage and childbearing as a natural cycle in which he must follow has become like a wheelbarrow in which a bull is wrapped while its eyes are closed; He invites him to refuse to follow the same line.
