Khalil bin Ahmed Faraaheedi

Al-Khalil bin Ahmed Al-Farahidi is considered one of the imams of language and literature, the author of the science of prosody, and the author of the first Arabic dictionary, which is the Al-Ain dictionary. He is Abu Abdul Rahman Al-Khalil bin Ahmed bin Amr bin Tamim Al-Farahidi, and it is also said: Al-Farhudi Al-Azdi, and Al-Farahidi is attributed to Farahid, which is one of the clans of Azd. Al-Farhud is the son of the lion in the Azd language, and it was said that Al-Farhud are young sheep, and it was said that Abu Al-Khalil was the first to be named Ahmed in Islam after the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and Al-Khalil’s birth was in the year 100 AH, that was the time of the caliphate of Omar bin Abdul Aziz, and it is mentioned Some say that his place of birth was in the city of Oman on the shore of the Arabian Gulf, and he lived his life in the city of Basra.
