Preparing natural solutions to combat insects and pests

Among the solutions used to control insects and pests are the following:

  • A solution of the same type of insects. This solution is prepared by squeezing a quantity of insects attacking the agricultural crop, then adding a liter of water to it. The solution is left aside for two days before spraying the crops with it, as the smell of this solution attracts insects that feed on the insect attacking the crops and is thus eliminated. Or they repel insects from crops.
  • Tobacco solution: soak 40 grams of tobacco in a liter of water and leave the soaking for two days, then filter the tobacco from the water well, then add a liter of water to the soaking water, then spray the crops with the solution. It is worth noting that this solution is effective in getting rid of the whitefly. , thrips and aphids.
  • Pepper solution: chop 100 grams of pepper leaves, then add 10 grams of grated soap to the chopped leaves, soak the ingredients in a liter of water for 12 hours, and then add 5 liters of water to the soaking in order to dilute it, because the concentrated pepper solution can harm Harm to crops.
  • Potato leaves solution: Soak 120 grams of potato leaves in a liter of hot water, leave the soaked aside for four hours, then filter the leaves well, add 4 grams of grated or liquid soap to the soaked water, then spray the crops with the solution, and repeat this process repeatedly.   • Nettle solution: Soak 100 grams of fresh nettle leaves in a liter of water for 12 hours, then filter the infusion, and spray the insect-infected crops with the soaking water. Repeat this method on a daily basis until the harmful insects are completely eliminated.

Manufacture of insect traps
