Making clay from tissue paper

  • Materials and tools used:
    • A roll of toilet paper.
    • One hundred grams of all-purpose flour.
    • One hundred grams of cornstarch.
    • Two hundred and fifty grams of white building paste.
    • One hundred and fifty grams of white glue.
    • Forty grams of olive oil or baby oil.
    • warm water.

  • Action Steps:
    • Remove toilet paper from the piece of wood.

  • Action Steps:
    • Put corn flour and chalk powder in the bowl and mix them together, then add glue to them and mix them well.

    • Leave the clay dough to cool completely before using it and playing with it, and if the dough is sticky, you can add a little baby powder and stir it well until it becomes a suitable texture for playing with it.
    • Cover it with nylon paper so that it remains usable and not damaged.

Clay made from cream of tartar

  • Materials and tools used:
    • Two cups of water.
    • Two cups of all-purpose flour.
    • Three quarters of a cup of salt.
    • Four teaspoons of cream of tartar.
    • Two tablespoons of vegetable oil.
    • Food coloring - optional -.
    • Vanilla extract - optional -.
    • Non-stick pan.

  • Action Steps:

    • Start kneading the clay ball by hand as soon as it becomes warm and can be held, and continue kneading it until it becomes flexible and soft and does not have any lumps.
    • Add five to six drops of food coloring to the clay and mix it well until the color is distributed evenly.
    • Add a few drops of vanilla to the clay to make it smell nice.
    • Place the clay in resealable plastic bags and seal them tightly; So that it remains soft and usable for up to three months.
