Hair henna with hibiscus

Hibiscus can be used with henna to dye hair red, by following the following steps:

Ingredients

  • Ten tablespoons of henna.
  • Lemon fruit, juice extracted.
  • A cup of boiled hibiscus.
  • Six cups of apple cider vinegar or regular vinegar.

The way

Mix the previous ingredients well, except for the lemon juice, and leave for three hours, then add the lemon juice and put it on the hair and leave it for a period ranging between 1-3 hours, depending on the desired degree of color.

How to put henna on hair

The following steps can be followed in how to apply henna to the hair:

  • After warming it, apply the henna to the middle of the scalp. Then the area is massaged using the fingers of the hand. A strand of hair is lifted using the left hand. The right hand is used to distribute the henna over the lifted strand of hair. The process is repeated until the henna is distributed over all the scalp and hair.
  • Comb the hair using your fingers, so that the henna penetrates all sections of the hair.
  • Wrap the hair into a bun on top of the head, then distribute the remaining henna over the hair and press it until it sticks together.
  • Cover the hair with a plastic shower cap for two hours.
  • Cover the skin exposed to henna using cotton pads.
  • Remove the shower cap after spending the required period, then cover the hair with a piece of black tulle, and leave it until the hair dries.
  • Washing hair using warm water and then using shampoo.
  • Dry and comb your hair and see amazing results.

Advice for maintaining dyed hair

It is recommended to wash dyed hair three days after dyeing, as the hair needs this period to be able to cover the hair with the dyed color. It is considered a common mistake to wash hair immediately after dyeing or before this period has passed after dyeing it.
