The Cairo Tower is one of the symbols of tourism in Egypt, as the tower symbolizes the lotus flower that the ancient Egyptian used to form the tops of temples.

The lotus flower is also considered a national building symbol in some other countries, such as Vietnam and India. The tower is more than 43 meters higher than the largest pyramid of Giza and is covered with about 8 million mosaic stones. It is located in the Zamalek neighborhood in Cairo.

Access to the Cairo Tower

If you have your car with you, you can easily reach the tower using the GPS, and there are plenty of safe parking spaces

If transportation is coming to the tower, the best way is to take the second line metro and get off at the opera station, walk exactly 10 minutes, and you will be in front of the tower, or get off at Abdel Moneim Riad stop and walk on the October Bridge and go down the first floor of Zamalek until you reach Al-Burj Street, about 20 minutes exactly.
